Wallpaint made of pure pigments

Kremer Pigments introduces a handmade natural resin paint in eight shades.

This solvent-free, water-thinnable wall paint is obtained from natural raw materials. Highest quality in the production and processing of pure materials ensure a silky matt and highly opaque paint.

The paint is fast drying, diffusible and breathable. Indoors, the wall paint can be used on all substrates, although pre-treatment with a transparent binder may be required. The pigments used are natural earths, historical cobalt pigments and carbonaceous pigments. These are characterized by very high light fastness and can be processed in almost all binders. In the production of natural resin paint, a solvent-free binder based on water is added to these pigments.

Pretreatment

The substrate must be dry and clean. Prime absorbent substrates with Wall Paint Primer (#19900) (diluted with 2 parts water).

Note: With different substrates, certain substances may bleed through from the substrate or cause discoloration. It is therefore essential to check the substrate for suitability and carry out preliminary tests (sample surfaces).

Painting

Stir well and apply by rolling, brushing or airless spraying (spray nozzle 0.53 mm, spray pressure 200 bar). Approx. 5% water can be added to the 1st coat.

Important:
Ensure a rich, even paint application! Apply wet-on-wet to and at the edges! Only use soft paint rollers that can absorb sufficient material! Carry out preliminary test! Ensure optimum fresh air supply during processing and drying of the products! Do not process at temperatures below 12° C. If necessary, apply a second coat. Ensure that there is sufficient material on the roller.

Technical Data

Ingredients
Water, aluminum silicate, pigments according to shade, binders based on ricin and sunflower oil, rosin resin, fatty acid alcohol ester, silver aluminum oxide.

Consumption/yield per application
110 - 125 ml / m² or 8 - 9 m² / l, but strongly dependent on the condition and absorbency of the substrate.

Drying
Dry and recoatable after approx. 12 hrs. (overnight). For subsequent glaze painting technique at least 24 hours drying time (20° C / 50 - 55 % relative humidity). In case of weak to non-absorbent substrates, the drying time for glaze painting technique may increase to 5 - 6 days. Apply a test coat!

Storage
Store in a cool, frost-free, dry and tightly closed place. Use opened containers as soon as possible.
Minimum shelf life of unopened containers 1 year.

Cleanig working materials
Clean the working materials immediately with Marseille Soap and water.
