Handmade Watercolor Paper (#875000 - #875005)

Our 4 exclusive handmade watercolor papers for artists, designer and architects are manufactured in a papermaking studio in Berlin.

Paper maker Gangolf Ulbricht produces unique paper sheets according to traditional European and Asian methods and adds Kremer pigments for color. Only wood-free fibre materials such as cotton, flax, hemp and rags from selected sources are used as raw materials. These are characterized not only by their fibre length, but also by purity and color tone.

The term „rag" does not refer to textile waste or pieces of cloth but to small pieces of fibre which are cut and torn and then added to the pulp. The mix results in a premium age-resistant paper - perfectly suitable for all water-based binders.
Our Kremer pigments add to the high and consistent brilliance of the different colors.
