Spirulina Blue, Algae Pigment
Phycocyanin Extract, not lightfast
The Spirulina Blue (also called Phycocyanin) Pigment extracted from the algae Spirulina is very luminous, but not lightfast pigment. After around 4 weeks in the sun it is almost completely bleached out. It is suitable for all water-thinnable binders, but not for strong acids or alkalis. At temperatures above 70 °C, the pigment is destroyed.
