Kremer Painting Butter

Kremer Painting Butter is a natural, thickening and texturizing medium for oil paint allowing the painter to build, sculpt, and physically manipulate paint. It contains no solvents nor aromatics and has a mild aroma.

Application:
We recommend starting with a small amount and gradually building volume as needed. We recommend a maximum mixing ratio of 1:1. Kremer Painting Butter can also be diluted with Pine Turpentine (#70010) or Kremer Solvent T (#70460) to create fast-drying, matte passages.

Properties:

• Increases the viscosity and stability of the paint.


• Preserves brush strokes and palette knife structures.


• Suitable for glazing to highly impasto paint application.


• Solvent-free.
