Set of 9: Cadmium Pigment Selection

Hardly any pigment family displays such powerful luminosity as cadmium colors: brilliant purity and rich color depth across the entire spectrum from yellow through orange to red. Cadmium pigments are suitable for virtually all artistic techniques and offer finely graded transitions.
The range includes three cadmium yellows - from a clear lemon through a light yellow to a warm dark yellow -, two cadmium oranges ranging from light orange to a red-tinted vermilion tone, as well as cadmium red in light and dark with rich, lightfast depth. Cadmium green in light and dark rounds off the range with two highly opaque, cool green tones.
Caution: Burning cadmium pigments produces toxic fumes. Therefore they are not approved for everyday objects and wall coatings, and are not suitable for encaustic.
