Quindo violet dark is a prilled pigment. The particles can be wetted easily in oil but requires thorough grinding. The use of a siccative is recommended. The pigment tends to clump in tempera binders but can be worked well in acrylic. Transparent techniques like watercolor turn into a beautiful bluish hue.
