The fine powder has no gloss. Suitable for tempera and all aqueous techniques.
Sale only within the EC. When ground, Mother of Pearl loses all luster. What remains is a soft, white powder with properties similar to Gofun Shirayuki or Eggshell White. However, Mother of Pearl is coarser and not as white. It has a typical inherent odor of ground shells. Mother of Pearl is particularly effective in watercolor medium.
