YInTiCo-Red (Yttirum - Indium - Titanium - Cobalt) is the most recent of the big new pigment discoveries and has only been produced in laboratory quantities since around 2015.
YlnTiCo-Red is a calcined high-temperature pigment based on yttrium, indium, titanium and cobalt. It has a red full tone and high color strength with excellent UV and visible opacity. It has excellent infrared reflective properties. It has low oil absorption and a low resin requirement for easy incorporation and high pigment loading.
The pigment is lightfast, temperature-stable, can be used in all techniques and opens up a new color range between red and violet.
