Handling and Warnings
Very light and strongly coloring pigment - be careful when opening the packaging and during processing!
Furnace black is largely pure carbon with only small admixtures of inorganic components and tar. It is obtained artificially by "controlled" combustion.
Black carbon blacks are very finely divided, strongly coloring pigments with high binder requirements. They dry slowly in oil binders. They are insensitive to light, acids, alkalis and chemicals of all kinds. Very light and strongly coloring pigment - be careful when opening the packaging and during processing!
