Medium II Matt increases the matt level of acrylic paints. This medium has a relatively coarse matt finish and is not suitable as a colorless matt varnish or lacquer, since the coarser particles do not form a scratch-resistant film and make the color appear duller.
Medium II matt has proved very successful for concrete glazes, and it can be colored with acrylic paints as a color additive.
Colorless primers, in the sense of pre-sizing paints for
acrylic painting, can also be applied with Medium II matt.
