This set allows you to travel through the history of painting - from cave paintings of our ancestors to the modern age. You will find azurite and malachite - the ancient colors of the Egyptians as well as vermilion of the Chinese emperors. Also represented are madder lake and indigo, the colors of the Orient. Natural earths, peach black and powerful Cyprian umbers complete the spectrum. In addition, there are modern pigments of the last 3 centuries: cobalt colors, ultramarines and the synthetic pigments of our time.
