Hybrid synthetic resin dispersions consisting of acrylic and polyurethane resins combine the pleasant processing possibilities of acrylic dispersions with the very low yellowing of polyurethane resins. This new Hybrid Dispersion No. 55 has significantly reduced surface dirt absorption, improved clearness and transparency, and can be thickened like an acrylic dispersion. The minimum film forming temperature is 6 °Celsius, i.e. Hybrid Dispersion No. 55 does not dry through properly below 6 °C.
