Handling and Warnings

Achtung: sehr leichtes Pigment: staubt!

Like most synthetic-organic pigments, this magenta is difficult to wet. When applied in watercolor, the quinacridone pigment develops a slightly bluish, luminous magenta tone. It is also suitable for tempera or acrylic paints, in which case the color tone is somewhat redder. The color tone is also more reddish in oil, the pigment behaves greasily when rubbed on and dries rather slowly.
