Micaceous iron oxide (iron glimmer; iron mica) is a crystalline iron oxide mineral consisting mainly of ferric oxide. Micaceous iron oxide is flaky or platelet-shaped, gray and has a metallic luster. It is mainly used as an anti-corrosion pigment.
